On ps4 I was able to use some third party remote play app which allowed me to use the Samsung glap controller with my note (also let me play over my data plan while out). Trying to figure out if I need to order one of those controller/phone connectors. You’ll only need to do this the first time you use Remote Play: From the home screen, select Settings System Remote Play, and then turn on Enable Remote Play. To start Remote Play while your PS5 console is in rest mode, select Settings System Power Saving Features Available in Rest Mode. Then turn on Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning on PS5 from Network. I used the PlayStation App on my Android phone to connect to my PS5, and Remote Play worked beautifully at 1080p and 60 fps with a PS5 game (Spider-Man: Miles Morales) as well as a PS4 game (MLB The Show 20). I played both titles with a DualShock 4 paired to my phone via Bluetooth. Working PS4 Remote Play AutoHotkey This is an improved version of the hotkey script from yesterday. I found that the button press of enter needed to be for a minimum time frame as it seems to happen to quick for the ps4 app to register. If not within a few metres, go into PS4 settings remote play settings and make sure connect directly with PS4 is unticked. It will still connect on your local network, but now through your router instead of the crappy PS4 WiFi.

Hi guys - I'd appreciate any advice anybody has on this issue which I just cannot solve at the moment!

I had a successful setup with Hue lights and Playstation 4 via Remote Play. I ran the remote play app on a Mac with Hue Sync, and was able to login with a second user and controller via Sony Remote Play, whilst using another DualShock 4 with my primary user account on the playstation in another room. Worked perfectly, and synced lights with screen activity.

I'm now trying to replicate the setup with a new PS5 and just cannot get it to work. The key seems to be in having one PS5 user active on the mac at the same time as having the main user account active on the PS5 at the same time so they can sync. Whatever I currently attempt to do always results in having the Remote Play app kick out connection when users change over. Really stumped, and cannot find anything online to help.
